Approach
My work is grounded in an existential and phenomenological framework. This means that together we explore your subjective experiences, emotions, and meanings — rather than focusing only on symptoms or diagnoses.
Existential psychotherapy offers a way to explore the fundamental questions of human life, including identity, freedom, responsibility, connection, loss, and purpose — in a non-judgemental and supportive space.
Depending on what you are coming to therapy for, I will draw on approaches that best fits you as an individual. I am interested in learning about you — your past, your present, what you hope for from therapy, and how you would like to move forward.
Therapy with me is a caring, reflective, and open process. I aim to create a space that feels safe, confidential, and secure. I am present with you through empathic listening, while also incorporating somatic, creative, mindfulness, experiential exercises, and psychodynamic and person-centred perspectives when helpful.
Together, we will engage in a reflective and transformative process, seeking meaning amid life’s challenges. Wherever you are in your journey, therapy with me is a collaborative, empathic, encouraging, and exploratory.
