About
Hi, I’m Ciara Hablutzel Oppenheimer,
I am MBACP registered as a psychotherapist and counsellor. Currently, I am training to be a Counselling Psychologist at the New School of Psychotherapy and Counselling (NSPC).
My qualifications are:
PGDip in Existential Psychology and Psychotherapy from NSPC
Foundation Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Regent’s University
MSc in Psychology from Birkbeck University
BA in History from University College London
My professional experience includes suicide prevention work at Rethink Mental Illness and bereavement support at Cruse Bereavement Care, where I worked in a trauma-informed way. This has enabled me to consider the contextual, cultural, and societal impact on one’s life and experiences.
I have lived in Hong Kong, New York, South Africa and London, so I am able to access challenges that present themselves across different cultural contexts. Additionally, I am curious about how culture plays a role in who we are.
I have worked with clients from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences, and I look forward to learning about what has shaped you.
